A Podium Place!
My story ‘Mummy’s Boy‘ was voted into third place by the readers of Whortleberry Press’ Strange Mysteries 2. The anthology features loads of great stories and it is a great honour to have been off stiff competition for this award.
Big thanks to Jean Goldstrom and her team for accepting my story and for producing such a fine collection.

Writing links
I have finally updated my writing links in the last day or so. I have nothing outstanding and haven’t had anything published for a couple of months. Time to get the finger out methinks!
The closest thing I’ve ever had to an independent review…
Someone sent this on to me today, it was a couple of sentences in relation to a story I had published in Encounters Magazine earlier this year.
In “The XY Conundrum” by James A. Stewart, Billy’s father is a scientist working on developing a type of super-soldier. He needs something he doesn’t have but Billy helps out in this piece with a real stinger ending.
Baw
Check out the new football site for Scottish Football: www.mitre5.net – this is a fledgling project but expect to see it blossom during the summer.
You Know You’ve Made It…
